{RAPID FIRE DOUBLE BLOG THURSDAY POSTS}

i don't know if you know this about me, but i'm an intensely emotional freak. i was talking about this with some friends the other night. they were like, "oh yeah, i cry in chick flicks," and i was like, "oh yeah, i cry in every other life situation."

because i do.

for example, this:

it's like an early 90's underdog sports movie. but it's better because it's real life. and it reminds me of my big brother, tj, who loves basketball and has down syndrome and who is awesome.

so best.

Ahhh! I love stories like this!! So heart warming. I'm definitely teary eyed.

I love that you also have a brother with down's. My little brother has taught me so, so much. Special needs people are SUCH a gift to the world. <3

chantelle ! hahaa, why yes, i do, and he does. :) maybe someday i'll do a little about me post and introduce myself a bit better.

jessie, shelby, michelle: good! i love you, fellow cryers.

jamie: it's so true. i used to have nightmares that they would invent a medicine that would "make tj's down syndrome go away." i would wake up in tears because i didn't think i'd like him as much if he was any other way...

I'm not gonna lie, this brought a tear to my eye! But, most inspirational sports stories do :) I cried like a baby when I watched the movie Rudy (which was slightly embarrassing because we watched it during a rain day in gym class in highschool).
