I loved that little kitchen. I did. I painted it green and used all 14 square inches of counter space as efficiently as I could. But no matter how much I loved that little kitchen, I have to confess to liking this one a whole heck of a lot more.
If you came over for the afternoon, we'd sit on that couch and play crokinole. And it would be awesome.

Okay, I totally thought the wall you were "colouring" was the one with the table at it, but I can see it's not. Now I'm very curious...which wall is it?
i love spacious kitchen too. for whatever reason. because, mainly i use the kitchen to make coffee only. ha. and that's a nice spot you have there.
Crokinole is one of my most favourite games. It took me so long to find it and when I did, I was not dissapointed. It would be neat if we could sit down for a game someday :) And also, your house looks lovely. What a special place for Baby Krause to grow up.
It looks so perfect and cozy! I love the top of the piano.
Trixie Beldens!!! TRIXIE BELDENS!! You warm my heart!
What a sweet house! I love it!
You have such a beautiful home! I love all of the details :) That needlepoint family portrait is so, so adorable!

thank you! i feel like living rooms should always feel cozy. it's a rule.
she was my faaaaaavorite growing up. and you're the first person i've met since who actually knows who she is!!
thank you!! :)
thank you! my friend becky made the needlepoint... i'm trying to convince her to open an etsy shop...
I have introduced her to my three oldest children as well! She was my absolute favorite too - no comparison, especially when sometimes my mom would bring me a new one home (a yellow covered paperback with the picture in the oval on the front) from $1.44 day at Woolco! I don't remember anything about that store, except the Trixies!
Now every time I see a used book store I go in to see if there are any I don't already own, but I never find any except in Calgary! Your home is beautiful!
