{crisps and pants}

a thing not to say to a stranger in scotland:
"oh, we have no plans for today. we're just going to fly by the seat of our pants." because here, pants means underoos and distinguished british gentlemen get really awkward once you mention your underoos to them.

while i was uploading these pictures, a lady came up and asked if barclay and i wanted to be in a commercial for "crisps". so i guess we're going to go to that now.
so.
there's that.

That is pretty awesome (about the crisps).

When I was in Bologna, I had just come from the Philippines and told my Welsh roommate that I "hadn't worn pants in almost a month" (just shorts and dresses).

And it was awkward.

You're gonna be in a commerical? What the...? When I was staying in Mexico City I was asked to be an extra in the Dragonball Z movie, in some kind of party scene, hahaha. I was leaving the city too early to do it though, darn it.

Oh I'm so glad you're enjoying it over here! It's pretty mixed pants-wise around Britain though so don't worry, you were just unlucky haha. I say pants to mean both really so I'm obviously easily pleased. Hope you keep having lots of fun xx
